| OpenLdap user-import cannot query user-Password ? |
Hello,
I'm using Teamwork V3.2.9 with Openldap. All works find, I configure my openLdap connection using the following parameters :
LDAP_BASE_DN=ou=people,dc=phloeme,dc=com LDAP_CONFIG_FILE=openLdap.properties LDAP_PROVIDER_URL=ldap://@IP-OPENLDAP LDAP_SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION=simple LDAP_SECURITY_CREDENTIALS=09f8432d0d0c95859b97d49cf0434ebf LDAP_SECURITY_PRINCIPAL=cn=admin,dc=phloeme,dc=com
The LDAP test is successful, I can import user's from LDAP. According to the documentation, on each user importation, I have to set the password.
Is there a automatic way for teamwork to retrieve the password stored in the LDAP instead of having to type it ?
If not, do I have to modify the user password in Teamwork, each time it is change in the Ldap ?
Thank you

Hi, If you enable the authentication with LDAP you don't need to write the password in Teamwork the authentication is done through the LDAP server. However, in order to focus development effort, we no longer support Teamwork version 3. Maybe you could take a look at the new Teamwork version, it contains many new features and improvements; customers of version 3 can get a discount on upgrade. Download the trial version here:
