Yet ”another system to integrate” fear? Teamwork makes it easy
Teamwork is unique as it is "biocompatible" with the existing IT infrastructure: runs on any server (is built in Java java.sun.com), on any application server, on your database (www.hibernate.org), on all main browsers and in your language (all utf-8 encodings are supported). Moreover, its sources are available. It is the easiest application to integrate with your IT infrastructure. Being on your database in a normal and simple relational form, you are always in control of your data.
Bored by users asking for a different dashboard on the Intranet? Your quest is over: Teamwork has a built in Content Management System, with many provided portlets (more can be easily created), and every user can customize her/his home page simply with drag-and-drop. Company news (eventually in un-customizable parts :-D) can be created by the editorial staff and published on the dashboards.
There is always something missing in projects, e.g. a new survey comes in every week? No problem: write your custom jsp plug-ins, and Teamwork will detect and add them.
Long discussions over field’s labels and their translations are over: you can change these through the web interface.
There is a powerful built-in HTTP and LDAP integration: see here.
Are you using Google Calendar (©Google Inc.) to manage your appointments? Don’t worry, you can import all of them in your Teamwork agenda or you can see your Teamwork appointments in the Google one.
Google Integration is more powerful as you can use a new Gmail (©Google Inc.) account as Teamwork’s, and send and receive e-mail to and from that account.
Are you a Twitter addict that traces all activities with twits? You can import all of those or only the relevant ones as timesheets in Teamwork. You can also send all your Teamwork worklogs to Twitter!
Are you a developer that traces his activities with Subversion commits? Teamwork can import also those as timesheets with a pretty and friendly interface.
Teamwork lets you also connect your projects to Subversion repository entry points created as file storages in Teamwork.
To read more about IT integration check out the user guide.
You want to try it? Its GUI multi-platform installer runs on any platform and is done in five minutes. You can also customize and adapt the installation by proceeding by hand (all detailed in the user guide).
