You want to manage your issues?
Yet another issue track application? How can Teamwork compete with the established market leaders? Well, no idea.
Well, actually we have several ideas: first, issue track in an extended workgroup is only a one-sided view of the work being done; issues should be relative to the project/task you are considering. On top of the common features of issue tracking tools, you get:
- issues inherit the fine grained security model of the task, which for example may allow customers/stakeholders to insert issues by themselves
- the task notification/subscription engine is extended to cover the issues
- you get multi line edit/close
- you can quickly insert several complex issues by one-click cloning
- you can attach documents/screenshots to issues
- when an issue becomes too complex, you can promote it to a task with a single click
- if you wish so, you can temporarily assign issues to no one, or to people outside the workgroup
- there is a democratic issue voting/promoting/demoting system
- there is an autocratic issue assignment system
- task work log can be fed from issues
- to do’s can be one-click promoted to issues with automatic work log insertion
- issue reports can be chosen for your dashboard
- issues statistics are available and can be customized
- there is an issue burn-down graph
- work estimation on the issue can be changed by thinking by "time remaining" instead of by "time allocated" (very practical in practical practice)
- …
A useful new functionality allows to do bulk transfer operations, moving issues from various task or resources to other tasks or resources.
